Rescuing Babies
Since 2005, Isithembiso has provided a safe, healthy and loving family environment for abandoned or orphaned babies between birth and 3 years old.
Changing a Nation
We want to change the future of Port Elizabeth's children, and our nation. We can continue to do this by opening more temporary safe care homes for orphaned or abandoned children. Our second home opened in 2018, multiplying our capacity to love and support babies.
Creating Families
Since our doors opened, 87% of our babies have been placed in foster, adoptive homes or reunited with their families.
